Furthermore, Akif Ilyas questioned the overall quality of comedy within Pakistan. Acknowledging Akif Ilyas's role in his early career, Hussain stated that he recognised Akif Ilyas's contribution.
Hussain also mentioned that Akif Ilyas had conducted his initial photoshoot without charging him for the service. Regarding their professional relationship, Hussain stated, "I have mentioned in almost every interview how much he helped me at the beginning of my career."
Concerning the nature of the dispute, Hussain added, "Whatever he said in that interview may have been influenced by something he heard or experienced, I don't know. But that is his personal opinion, and I respect it." The comedian concluded his remarks by telling Akif Ilyas, "I love you, Akif bhai."
