Raisani demands public disclosure of opposition recommendations on Mines and Minerals Act

Nawabzada Haji Lashkari Raisani called for the government to release opposition party recommendations regarding the Mines and Minerals Act during a press conference at the Quetta Press Club on 11 October. Barrister Muhammad Iqbal Kakar attended the briefing alongside Raisani to address concerns over the legislative process.
The official notification for the committee established to oversee the Mines and Minerals Act remains unissued. Raisani claimed that the Mines and Minerals Act was enacted without informing opposition members, effectively transferring Balochistan's natural wealth to the federation.
The leader further alleged that fake representatives are being positioned to enable the looting of provincial resources. Following the approval of the Act, Raisani stated that assembly members were granted funds totaling crores of rupees through the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP).
