Country Music Association hosts live tribute for late Dolly Parton

The Country Music Association celebrated the life of Dolly Parton on 21 October. Parton passed away in August at 80 years old after a short struggle with cancer.
More than 20 performers took to the stage to honor the singer's career. Tributes were paid by various stars including Sabrina Carpenter, Julia Roberts, Oprah, Bono, and Goldie Hawn.
The special aired live on ABC and Disney+ on 21 October. Viewers can stream the production on Hulu starting 22 October.
The evening’s official logline described the event as a "joyful, emotional celebration of the artist, songwriter, entertainer, humanitarian and entrepreneur whose music and generosity carried her from the mountains of East Tennessee into the hearts of generations around the world, told through performances, archival footage and personal stories that trace her extraordinary journey to becoming one of the most beloved entertainers and philanthropists in American history."
