Paramount Skydance takeover of Warner Bros. Discovery becomes reality

Paramount Skydance’s takeover of Warner Bros. Discovery is becoming reality. Pierre-Antoine Capton believes Ellison’s commitments will hold.
Capton stated that consolidation represents a potential solution to the economic problems facing the world. Ellison pledged that the combined Paramount and Warner Bros. entities will release thirty movies annually in cinemas.
Marco Chimenz suggests the merger might yield positive outcomes for commissioning television series in Italy and other European nations. Tim Richards asserted that the United Kingdom possesses one of the world's most highly trained skill sets for filmmakers.
Picturehouse’s Binns expressed concern regarding Paramount adopting a conservative approach to approving film projects.
Capton stated, “You can obviously rationalize structures while keeping, and even increasing, your creative ambition. That’s what we’re trying to do at Mediawan, on a much smaller scale. I think everywhere in the world we’re entering a much more difficult phase, where consolidation will be, in my view, one of the solutions to the economic problems we’re all going to face”.
