Leguizamo urges Skydance to consider industry needs amid studio merger concerns

John Leguizamo spoke out regarding the Paramount and Warner Bros. merger, urging David Ellison to consider the industry's requirements as he assumes control of the new Skydance entity. In April, Leguizamo joined over 4,000 film and television stars and creatives who signed an open letter opposing the pending acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery by Paramount Skydance.
The list of signatories included notable figures such as Joaquin Phoenix, Ben Stiller, Kristen Stewart, and Robert De Niro. Other prominent actors who signed the letter were Sofia Coppola, Florence Pugh, Pedro Pascal, and Edward Norton.
The signatories' roster also featured Alyssa Milano, Bryan Cranston, and Jane Fonda, among many others. The open letter garnered support from a wide array of industry professionals, including Lin-Manuel Miranda and Adam McKay.
