He now faces one felony count of battery by strangulation alongside a misdemeanor count of battery. Jazzma Kendrick, the rapper's ex-girlfriend, publicly accused him of domestic violence.
Kendrick claimed the alleged incident took place on 28 August, after the victim reported the matter on Tuesday, 29 September. According to the allegations, the rapper slapped her when she denied his accusations and choked her until she could not breathe.
The arraignment for Mr. Ross is scheduled for 22 October.
Jazzma Kendrick stated, “If a man hits you one time, he will do it again. Don’t give him the opportunity. Value your life and leave.”
