Federal judge dismisses antitrust lawsuits against Google in US

A federal judge dismissed antitrust lawsuits against Google in the United States, ruling against Chegg and Penske Media Corporation. The US District Judge Amit Mehta ruled against Chegg and Penske Media Corporation, who had accused Google of abusing monopoly power.
Plaintiffs had only pleaded an ‘expectation’ that Google would direct them search traffic if they offered their content freely, according to Mehta. Currently, Google pays approximately 100 publishers.
