Pharmacy Council orders three universities to halt Pharm.D admissions

KIPS College, University Campus, Gujranwala, Superior University, Sargodha Campus, and Riphah Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Riphah International University, Gujranwala, were identified as the affected entities. The council directed these schools to suspend all admission-related activities until they secure the necessary No Objection Certificate (NOC).
Officials took notice of the fact that these institutions were promoting Pharm.D programmes and seeking students without obtaining the required regulatory clearance. The PCP instructed the universities to ensure that no prospectus, public announcement, or promotional material creates a misleading impression regarding the recognition status of their courses.
Prospective students and their parents were advised by the council to confirm the approval and NOC status of any institution before seeking admission.
