PCB takes 20-year management control of Hyderabad's Niaz Stadium
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will assume management of Hyderabad’s Niaz Stadium for a period spanning two decades, according to reports. Under the new arrangement, the PCB will gain complete administrative authority, alongside rights covering commercial and broadcasting activities at the venue.
Furthermore, the agreement stipulates that the board must upgrade the stadium to meet international standards. In exchange for control, the PCB will pay a monthly rent of Rs. 10,000 to HMC.
HMC, meanwhile, will receive twenty percent of the revenue generated from the stadium's gate tickets. The stadium, which has a capacity of roughly 15,000 spectators, previously saw the PCB manage it for eleven years.
Previously, the Qasimabad Municipal Committee reclaimed control of the facility on 20 April 2018. Separately, Pakistan's rights for home cricket broadcasting were sold for Rs. 350 Million.
