PTV secures rights for Pakistan cricket matches worth Rs 350 million
PTV secured broadcasting rights for Pakistan’s home cricket matches for Rs 350 million. The agreement covers a total of 5 Tests, 14 One Day Internationals, and 6 Twenty20 Internationals.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had set a reserve price of Rs 600 million for the broadcasting package. Pakistan is scheduled to play three T20 Internationals against Sri Lanka during this month.
Furthermore, two Tests against Sri Lanka are slated for next month. Looking ahead, Pakistan is due to face Ireland in three T20Is in January 2027.
A separate one-off Test match against Ireland is also scheduled for February. Separately, there is unconfirmed information suggesting Zimbabwe might have declined a tour to Pakistan for commercial reasons.
