Simon Pegg reveals ADHD diagnosis after discussing symptoms on podcast

Simon Pegg revealed he has been diagnosed with ADHD, a behavioural syndrome characterised by hyperactivity, impulsivity, and inattention. The actor, who is 56 years old, discussed this diagnosis on the podcast I'm ADHD! No You're Not on Thursday.
Pegg stated that he felt his poor driving was linked to undiagnosed ADHD. This diagnosis followed an incident where Pegg reversed into a post while on holiday in Greece.
Furthermore, Pegg admitted to looking up 'Do people with ADHD get into more car accidents than people who don't have it' on his phone. ADHD symptoms encompass inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity.
Globally, estimates suggest that between 3-5% of people are affected by ADHD. In England alone, an estimated 2.5 million people have been diagnosed with ADHD.
Data from the Lancet Regional Health Europe indicates that 1.2% of adults in England received an ADHD diagnosis.
