Tim Walker's Fairyland Exhibition Opens at National Portrait Gallery

Tim Walker's Fairyland: Love and Legends exhibition opens at London's National Portrait Gallery on Friday, showcasing his photographic work. The exhibition will remain on display at the National Portrait Gallery until 7 February 2027.
Among the featured pieces is a nude portrait of Harry Styles. The overall collection explores themes of queer identity, community, and love.
The National Portrait Gallery views the project as a celebration spanning over 50 years of queer activism, community, and love. Walker created the exhibition following five years of work, during which he photographed approximately 250 individuals linked to queer culture, activism, and history.
The National Portrait Gallery advises visitors that the exhibition contains a content warning regarding nudity, adult themes, and some sexually explicit imagery. Harry Styles joins a lineup of notable artists, including Chappell Roan, Lady Gaga, Hunter Schafer, Frank Ocean, Ian McKellen, and Miriam Margolyes.
