Interloop Holdings to invest Rs15 billion in new dairy processing plant

Interloop Holdings plans to invest $55 million, equivalent to Rs15 billion, to establish a new dairy processing facility in Pakistan. The company will develop the plant through its subsidiary, IL Foods Limited.
Türkiye’s Rella Gida will partner with the Pakistani firm on the project. Musadaq Zulqarnain stated the facility will manufacture cheese, butter, and high-value whey protein concentrate.
Specifically, the plant is set to produce Whey Protein Concentrate 80 (WPC80). A portion of the output is intended for export markets.
Once the facility is commissioned, Zulqarnain said Interloop’s total annual milk processing capacity will reach 180 million litres. Founded in Faisalabad in 1992, Interloop Limited has grown into one of the world’s largest hosiery manufacturers.
