NADRA launches mobile app service for remote CNIC updates

The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has introduced a procedure for citizens to update photographs and permanent addresses on Computerized National Identity Cards (CNICs). Users can submit these applications from their homes by using the identity card services provided on the PakID mobile application.
To begin, applicants must log in to the app and select the “Identity Card” option from the home screen. The system requires users to choose “Myself” for personal updates or “My Blood Relatives” when applying on behalf of an eligible family member.
Selecting the “Update Card” option allows individuals to request changes to their information without visiting a NADRA registration centre.
