Jon Tower supervises CBS News A.M. program following network revamp

Jon Tower serves as the official supervisor of the CBS News A.M. program. Tower joined CBS News in 2014 after working on the original production team that launched Morning Joe at MSNBC.
He also helped manage the program in 2020, a year when Diana Miller stepped away as executive producer. Cibrowski revamped the morning program and previously helped ABC News push GMA past Today.
The main on-air team for CBS Mornings includes Norah O’Donnell, Gayle King, Nate Burleson, Vladimir Duthiers, and Kelly O’Grady. CBS Mornings has long run in third place compared to its broadcast competitors, with viewership eroding among the 25 to 54 demographic.
Cibrowski said, "We want to be, first and foremost, informative and helpful to the core audience that’s watching morning television."
