Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi urges women to avoid sharing photographs online

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi told journalists during an open court at the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency in Lahore that women should not share their pictures under any circumstances. Naqvi stated that the agency is currently receiving the highest volume of cases involving the harassment of girls.
To combat these crimes, the government is working to provide sufficient staffing to handle the issues faced by people who contact the agency. The minister cautioned the public against transferring funds to individuals requesting money through online platforms.
"If someone asks you for money online, do not transfer it under any circumstances," Naqvi said. He explained that criminals have created fraudulent social media accounts to swindle money from the public.
An awareness campaign targeting girls and the general public is being planned to address these security concerns.
