DRAP launches Sindhi video to boost adverse drug event reporting

The Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP) developed an animated video in Sindhi to educate patients and healthcare professionals regarding the reporting of suspected adverse events linked to medicines. The National Pharmacovigilance Centre of DRAP created this video.
This video details the reporting channels for adverse events, directing submissions to the Provincial Pharmacovigilance Centre in Sindh and the National Pharmacovigilance Centre. DRAP stated that adverse event reporting constitutes a vital component of pharmacovigilance, thereby strengthening medicine safety.
Furthermore, the initiative seeks to improve public awareness concerning pharmacovigilance and make adverse event reporting more accessible to Sindhi-speaking communities.
