Afridi vows resistance against military operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Sohail Afridi vowed he would not permit another military operation within Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP). The Chief Minister stated, “I will not allow another military operation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa; I will resist anti-people policies till I am the chief minister”.
The PTI march, originally set for 27 September, was rescheduled to 4 October. On 4 October, the procession commenced from Lakki Marwat and Karak.
The march reached Peshawar on Thursday and plans to remain overnight in Charsadda. Afridi further asserted, “But I will never become a part of this policy”.
He claimed that the Centre had withheld funds meant for erstwhile tribal areas, including Khyber. Regarding financial aid, Afridi stated that his government disbursed Rs21 billion for families impacted by military operations.
