Cricket Australia suspends Megan Schutt for two matches over medication breach

Cricket Australia suspended 33-year-old bowler Megan Schutt for two matches on 22 October 2026. The sanction follows Schutt's failure to comply with requirements regarding the use of prescription medication.
Schutt will be absent from the third and final Twenty20 match against New Zealand at North Sydney Oval on 22 October 2026. Australia stated, "This (breach) relates to a single incidence which occurred while out of competition and was not for performance enhancing purposes."
The player accepted the disciplinary sanction and apologised for failing to meet the required standards.
